Kirby Home History

Angeline Elizabeth Kirby Memorial Health Center is a non-profit public health institution that was dedicated in 1931.

The facility was built by Fred M. Kirby in memory of his mother, Angeline Elizabeth Kirby. Using the best materials and artistry, the building was designed as a monument to last for more than 300 years.

Dental Health Clinic

Kirby Dental Clinic The Kirby Health Center
provided a Children’s
Dental Clinic since the
building’s dedication
in 1931.
Today, the Health Center
maintains a Dental
Health Clinic that
provides routine exams,
cleanings, digital x-rays,
fluoride treatments, and
sealants for adults and
children.The facility works in association with the Luzerne Country Community College Dental Hygiene Program.
Services are provided at a minimal cost to the patient:
Adults                         $15.00/visit
Seniors/Veterans     $10.00/visit
Children                       $5.00/visit
